WHAT IS reiki?
Reiki energy healing is a holistic practice that involves the transfer of energy through the hands of a practitioner to help lessen physical and emotional ailments. Reiki practitioners use their hands to channel universal life force energy, using it to restore balance in the body's energy system.
Reiki healing does not require any special tools and can be used on anyone regardless of age, beliefs or medical history. Reiki works on all levels – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – and is known for its calming effects that decrease stress levels and promote relaxation.
how will reiki HELP ME?
Studies have found that using Reiki during labor decreases pain levels associated with contractions, decrease blood pressure among birthers undergoing an epidural, and increase satisfaction with their birth experiences overall. Reiki energy healing is a powerful tool that can provide comfort and support throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth.
Reiki can be beneficial for both the parent and the baby. For the birther, it helps them to relax and prepares the body for labor and birth, while for the baby, it reduces stress hormones. It is also thought to help reduce fear & stress related to childbirth by helping the birthing person process emotions in a healthy way.

This session will include an intake evaluation before reiki is received and a processing conversation after.
Sage cleansing, guided mediation, sound healing, chakra balancing, and aura cleansing are also services that can be received during the session.
